Chapel Rules


-Call, text or email for access code one day prior to scheduled access.
-Chapel is not staffed. The chapel manager is not on site during event access times. Emergency contacts are on the Rental Instructions and posted in the kitchen and front basement wall. Owner and manager on call during your event.
-Unauthorized access of chapel charged at double the hourly rental price and deducted from security deposit.
-Exceeded rental times/hours are deducted from security deposit at double the hourly rental rate.
-Rental times/hours includes arrival and departure from building and grounds.
-Planning and rehearsals must leave chapel in staged condition as when arrived. Early drop off of items and or decorating is not allowed and fined at owners discretion.
-Alcohol and event insurance is required and not provided. Alcohol is Allowed.
-BTC highly recommends that Server/bartender obtain 1-day liquor license and liability insurance.
-Wedding/Rental party assumes responsibility for accidents/injuries and property damage from alcohol use, or actions of party and guests, not caused by chapel, staff, or it's owners.
-Smoking Allowed Outdoors 10 ft minimum from building.
-Guests in excess of pricing packages will result in $250 fine deducted from security deposit and event termination at owners discretion.
-Garbage Exceeding 2 cans have a disposal fee of $42 deducted from Security Deposit.
-Replacement value of items taken or broken are deducted from Security deposit and balances charged.


-No firearms, weapons, fireworks or illegal drugs allowed on premises.
-Birdseed, rice, real flower pedals, confetti, nails or tacks or like kind items not allowed in Chapel. Candles allowed only in well secured protected glass.
-Bubbles and real flower pedals allowed outdoors. Silk flower pedals allowed indoors.
-Downstairs is for wedding party and vendors. Use chain at top of stairs during event. The staircase to basement is steep with short steps that is grandfathered character of the building but need special caution and care. The rental party accepts responsibility and liability for accidents on staircase as well as entire property.
-Rental party to obey City 10 pm noise restrictions.
-Music is allowed outdoors as long as it does not cause noise complaints. $50 fee deducted from security deposit per neighbor complaint and event may be terminated.
-Outdoor tents and canopies are allowed.
-Dance Floors allowed.
-No tie-down stakes allowed due to underground systems. Use sandbags or water bags please.
-No motorized vehicles allowed on lawn or in flowerbeds.
-Parking allowed in both parking lots, along front of chapel, and park on one side of Church Rd. North side preferred by Neighbor. Additional parking at Church lot up Church rd, below hardware store and road 1 block North of Chapel.
-Chairs may be taken outdoors, but need to be returned to building clean after event. Pews must remain indoors.
